The Little House of La will play their first ever gig for children at their outdoor performance on North Kelvin Meadow. The Creature Features set will see children dressed as their favourite animals dancing away to animal themed music.
The Little House of La features three of the original members from indie-‐pop band Aberfeldy, so expect some lovely harmonies, groovy beats and lots of fun.
Band member Ruth Barrie says that that the gig will have a “laid back acoustic, old time kind of feel” and that “The Little House of La will be encompassing lots of styles – From Saint Saens’ Carnival of the Animals to Apeman by the Kinks.”
The event starts at 2:30pm and will finish around 4:30pm. There will be an opportunity to make instruments out of old plastic bottles before the performance, get faces painted and enjoy home baking and drinks. The event will costs £5 per family.
