Thank you to everyone who made it to the Children’s Wood today. It was a fun morning of exploration, with children enjoying the whole of North Kelvin Meadow and not just the Children’s Wood. We found a snail, a centipede and a few bugs and slugs which we examined closely in our bug boxes. The music session worked well too. There was talk of creating a community raised bed for children. I’ll keep you posted with details and hopefully we can get this started on one of our Wednesday meet-ups. Hope to see you next Wednesday, 10 -12. If you haven’t been before and want to find out more call us on 07762029663 – but feel free to just turn up. The more the merrier.
There may be extra snacks, but it would be helpful if you could bring along your own snack for your child.
Remember, we meet up even if it’s raining. That way children get to experience the wonder of the wood in the rain too.
