Save the Children’s Wood protest in George Square

Come and join us at the City Chambers end of George Square to protest against the possible development of 90 residences on the meadow and Children’s Wood – 3rd of January, 9:45am – 10:30am.

Our particular focus will be on the use of the meadow for outdoor learning for children – something which is being overlooked. We are implementing Glasgow’s strategy for outdoor learning.

We’re going to bring the meadow and wood to George Square.  If you have any spare cardboard lying around after Christmas please make a tree, bug or flower so that we can hold these up together to create our meadow.

Tam Dean Burn and Emma Schad will be performing some Julia Donaldon songs, plus there will be a few short words from some parents.
