FREEcycle event Sunday 13th September

The Children’s Wood will be hosting another FREEcycle event this Sunday, 13th September 12-4pm. The basic idea for the event is that people bring along good condition items they don’t use or want and swap them for other items they might need. The object of the event is to have nothing left over. There will be a drop off point this Saturday, 12th September 7-9pm, at Kelbourne Street scout hall, if you can’t make it then send us an email childrenswood@hotmail.com or give us a call 07762029663. Please bring items to the hall then.

We will also be collecting for the Maryhill Foodbank, please have a look at the flyer to see what items to bring along.

On the 13th there will lots of opportunities for outdoor play and fun, including a fire outside. We’ll have our usual cafe set up in the scout hall. Sue Palmer will be at the event if people would like to find out more about her Upstart campaign to create a kindergarten stage from 3-7 years. We hope to see you then!
